The Institute of the Good Shepherd is pleased to announce that on July 16, 2021, after negotiations followed by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, the Bishop of Manchester in the United States (in the state of New Hampshire), His Excellency Peter A. Libasci, erected the personal parish of St. Stanislaus, dedicated to the usus antiquior and entrusted to the Institute of the Good Shepherd. At the same time, he granted is authorization for the canonical erection of a house of our Institute. St. John de Brébeuf, a Jesuit missionary and martyr, was chosen as the new house's patron saint.
The office of parish priest, as well as that of superior of the house, was entrusted to Rev. Fr. Hugues Beaugrand, who for several years has been working for the Institute in the United States. He officially took office on September 10, 2021.
May Our Lady of Guadalupe, patron saint of the Americas, watch over this new parish, its faithful and its pastor.
